Zachary C. Flowerree joined Werman Salas P.C. in June 2014. Mr. Flowerree’s practice focuses on representing workers in wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits. He also represents whistleblowers and employees that have experienced discrimination based on their age, sex, race, or disability.
Mr. Flowerree received his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of Chicago Law School in 2011. While in law school, Mr. Flowerree was a student attorney in the Mandel Legal Aid Clinic’s Employment Discrimination Project, where he helped workers prosecute claims under the Illinois Human Rights Act. He was also a staff member of The University of Chicago Legal Forum and a semi-finalist in the law school’s Hinton Moot Court competition.
Before joining Werman Salas, Mr. Flowerree was a management-side labor and employment attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. While at Winston & Strawn, Mr. Flowerree gained broad experience representing large corporations in a variety of employment litigation matters, including wage and hour, employment discrimination, ERISA, restrictive covenants, and whistleblower lawsuits.
Mr. Flowerree is admitted to practice in Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
