Werman Salas P.C. Labor and Employment Law Scholarship 

We are proud to offer the Werman Salas P.C. Labor and Employment Law Scholarship. This scholarship is offered to any undergraduate or law school student in the United States who has a demonstrated interest in labor or employment law, workers’ rights, or economic policy relating to overtime pay, minimum wages, or gender-based pay disparities.

The scholarship will be awarded annually in the amount of $1,000.

Application Instruction

Applicants must submit a combined personal statement and essay (under 800 words). The essay must describe a committed interest in labor or employment law, workers’ rights, or economic policy relating to overtime pay, minimum wages, or gender-based pay disparities. The essay should also explain how that interest informs future employment goals.

The personal statement must be submitted to scholarship@flsalaw.com in a .pdf format and must also contain on a separate page the following information.

  • Your Full Name;
  • Phone Number;
  • Mailing Address;
  • Proof of Academic Enrollment;
  • Your University or Law School Personal Email Address;
  • Subject Line as: “Werman Salas P.C. Employment Law Scholarship.”

Deadline to Apply

Deadline: September 1, 2020.

Amount of Scholarship Award

$1,000.00.

Time of Scholarship Award

The Scholarship recipient will be notified on or before October 31 of each calendar year.  The award will be paid directly to the winning recipient and mailed to their specified address as a check.
