$7,500,000 SETTLEMENT

Service Technicians for a well-known computer and technology company sued their employer claiming that they were misclassified as exempt from federal and state overtime laws. They claimed that because of their job duties, they were not properly considered exempt from overtime under the computer professional or any of the white-collar exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The case settled for $7,500,000 on behalf of service technicians employed throughout the United States.
